Mediation – Who?

Mediators come from many backgrounds, and you can see the experience of our mediators here. There may be one or more mediators attending to a mediation.

The participants in a mediation are generally the people in dispute. However, they can be represented or supported by lawyers or people trusted by them. Very importantly, whoever is participating in a mediation must have authority to settle the dispute. That means they must be able to make a final agreement that puts an end to the dispute, an agreement that everyone in dispute can be content with and that no other person can challenge or disagree with.
